Cecilia K. Holden, MBA
Cecilia, also known as Cil, is a North Carolina native, born and raised in the small town of Whiteville. She received a Masters in Business Administration from Duke University, a B.S. in Computer Science and Business from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and a certification in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Cil is the Business Operations Manager for Guardian Capital Advisors, LLC.
Cil began her working career with a computer firm, while attending UNC-W. After completing her undergraduate degree, Cil moved to Raleigh where she worked in government for twelve years. Her responsibilities included technical personnel management, oversight of multi-million dollar budgets and driving cost reductions through on-going return on investment analyses. Following her career in government, Cil was employed by IBM during which time, she completed her MBA. As a manager, she provided on-going oversight of annual budgets and return on investments for technical services, while consistently striving to strengthen customer relationships.
Cil took on her toughest role when she became a stay-at-home mom. She has re-entered the work force with GCA where she brings her broad experience in business management along with her passion for excellence in customer service. Cil lives in Raleigh with her husband Tom, her son, Powell and her daughter, CeCi. She is an active member of Edenton Street United Methodist Church, supporting many of the church's ministries.
