Jeffrey D. Link

Jeff was born in Meridian, Mississippi and raised in the small town of Endicott, New York. He attended the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He holds concentrations in Finance and Marketing and a minor in Accounting. Jeff is an Investment Advisor Representative at Guardian Capital Advisors, LLC and a Registered Representative of Triad Advisors. He is dual registered to conduct both fee-based planning as well as transaction-based investing.

Jeff began his career in the securities industry as an Investment Consulting Analyst at Smith Barney. In this position he analyzed individual money managers and advised branch advisors and their clients on risk tolerance considerations, asset allocation decisions, and specific investment manager suitability and selection. This position provided him a foundation for applying independent and objective analysis to all investments.

Jeff later joined Legg Mason, then a regional brokerage firm, as a Financial Advisor. In this role, he cultivated his clientele by focusing on the neglected areas of their financial plan, identifying potential risks, and crafting new investment strategies for implementation. Jeff later joined Stifel Nicolaus where he continued his practice in the same capacity. Following his tenure with Stifel, Jeff joined Guardian Capital Advisors, LLC which presented him the opportunity to exploit his entrepreneurial spirit while working with his clients in an environment promoting independent and unbiased advice. This affiliation also expands his capability to search for, analyze, and select investment solutions for his clients from a larger investment platform.

Jeff lives in Raleigh with his wife Julie, and their two children, Hayden and Parker. He is a member of Edenton Street United Methodist Church and is on the Board of Directors for the Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities. In his spare time Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing golf, and exercising.
